Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: October 22, 2026

Welcome to GoldRoute Vehicle Shipping. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the vehicle transportation services that we arrange or provide. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking a service, you agree to these terms to the extent applicable to your transaction.

Please read this document carefully before using our services.

1. About Our Services

GoldRoute Vehicle Shipping offers information and transportation arrangements for vehicle shipping services, including open car transport, enclosed car transport, door-to-door auto transport, and state-to-state auto transport.

The specific services available depend on the pickup and delivery locations, vehicle condition, carrier availability, and the terms of your individual booking. Where GoldRoute acts as a broker or arranges transportation through third-party carriers, the actual transportation may be performed by an independent carrier.

Your booking documentation should identify the parties responsible for arranging and performing the transportation.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on the information supplied by the customer and the transportation requirements known when the quote is prepared.

The final price may depend on vehicle size, route, distance, transport type, pickup and delivery access, scheduling, market conditions, and carrier availability.

Any quote should be reviewed for its validity period, included services, applicable fees, and payment terms. Additional charges must be communicated and agreed upon as required by applicable law and the booking agreement.

A quote request does not constitute a confirmed booking unless confirmation is provided.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Customers must provide accurate contact information, vehicle details, pickup and delivery addresses, and preferred transportation dates.

Pickup and delivery dates may be estimates unless explicitly confirmed as guaranteed in a written agreement. Weather, traffic, road restrictions, mechanical problems, carrier availability, and other circumstances may affect scheduling.

Customers should remain available for communication during the pickup and delivery process and promptly notify us of any changes to their arrangements.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the vehicle and transportation requirements.
  • Disclosing whether the vehicle is operable, modified, oversized, or otherwise subject to special handling requirements.
  • Removing personal belongings and prohibited items before pickup.
  • Making the vehicle accessible for inspection and loading.
  • Ensuring that a person authorized to release or receive the vehicle is available when required.
  • Reviewing applicable booking documents, inspection reports, and payment terms.

Additional preparation may be required for non-running vehicles or vehicles with unusual dimensions.

5. Vehicle Inspection and Condition

The vehicle’s condition should be documented at pickup through an inspection report or bill of lading, as applicable. Customers should review the documentation and retain a copy.

At delivery, customers should inspect the vehicle before completing the delivery paperwork whenever reasonably possible. Any visible damage or discrepancy should be documented and reported promptly in accordance with the applicable transportation agreement and claims procedure.

The applicable carrier’s terms and insurance arrangements govern the handling of transportation-related claims, subject to applicable law.

6. Insurance and Liability

Insurance coverage, exclusions, deductibles, and claim procedures depend on the responsible carrier, the applicable policy, and the transportation agreement.

Customers should request confirmation of relevant coverage before booking and should not assume that personal belongings, mechanical failures, pre-existing damage, or every type of loss is covered.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

7. Payments and Cancellations

Payment amounts, deposits, payment methods, cancellation charges, refunds, and any carrier-related fees must be disclosed in the applicable booking agreement.

Customers should review these terms before confirming a booking. Cancellation requests should be submitted through the contact method identified in the booking documentation.

Any refund or cancellation will be handled according to the agreed terms and applicable consumer protection laws.
